How to Get WhatsApp on Your PC and Laptop?

 While earlier there there was no way to get up WhatsApp on Laptop or Desktop. Now the developers dedicated client and WhatsApp web option for Desktop.

     The WhatsApp web was first started couple of years back. In this method you  need not to download anything  for getting WhatsApp for desktop or Laptop.You can still use WhatsApp through browser.

Follow the following Steps

 1.   Open your convenient browser and type web.whatsapp.com. You will see the screen with QR code. You will also see the checkbox that noted "keep me signed in" check or un-check this checkbox based on your preference.

 

2. Pickup your smartphone,tap the chats tab, then tap the three vertical dots to open a drop down menu .

3. Tap the WhatsApp Web.

4. Hold you phone up to the computer screen to scan the QR code displayed  on the desktop.

5. Scan QR code fro desktop and the connection between your smart phone and PC or Laptop  will be established. Now you can use WhatsApp from computer.

    Your phone must connected to the internet while you use whatsApp web client.

If you have checked the checkbox "keep me signed in", anyone can see your message if they some how get access to your laptop by typing WhatsApp web Url. Avoid using  WhatsApp web through public computers such as institutional computers, cafe etc. 

Advantages of using WhatsApp Web

• With the ability to also type faster and easier using your computer keyboard than that of phone.
• No need to download the app .
• Large computer storage makes you store your multimedia which is downloaded at better quality using a computer than a phone.

Disadvantages of using WhatsApp Web

• You can only view WhatsApp statuses but can't change your account's profile picture or cannot update a new status.
• It is unsafe at times if you are not present with your computer but connected from afar because someone may access your personal chats.To avoid this you can log out while leaving your computer or remotely logout using your phone.
