Google Maps is one of the most popular apps in Google's portfolio.Google Maps is used by millions of people on a daily basis of get around. Now it's been revealed that Google Maps is testing out showing traffic lights on streets, but possible only on Android.

The light symbol comes up at points where a driver may encounter them while on the road. They also appear in directions for walking as well.
Google Map traffic light support is just a small, static marker in the middle of an intersection indicating that there is a traffic light there. The user has to zoom in really close to see the traffic lights, but if the zoom in far enough, the lights can be spotted on Android, iOS and the web.
Having traffic lights appear directly on Google Maps is a great new feature because its make its easier to plan your routes.Like many Google Maps features, traffic light data is enabled through Google servers, so there's no specific version of Google Maps we can point to that has it.
Unfortunately,it appears that this new feature has only rolled out to users in the United States. The company has not yest revealed as to when this feature will be available in other countries.
Very useful addition
