How to Show Speed Limit in Google Maps

How to Show Speed Limit in Google Maps

The speed limit function in Google Maps indicates users the speed limit of the road they're on and alerts them if they go over it. With its multiple functionalities and tools, it gives voice to directions, allowing drivers to take benefit of its functions. Unfortunately, the speed limit option is only available to Android users.

How to Enable Speed Limit in Google Map

To get this speed limit function, go to the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store and download the most recent version of the Google Maps app. To set a speed limit in Google Maps, follow the steps below.

  • On your smartphone, open the most recent version of Google Maps.
  •  In the top right corner of the screen, click the Profile icon or your initials.
  • Click to the App settings.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Navigation Settings.
  • Select Speed Limit Settings from the drop-down menu.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Driving option.
  • Turn on the speedometer and the speed limiter.
 Conclusion
Once enabled, the speed limit for the area will appear at the bottom of the Google Maps app. It will also alert users if they break the speed limit in a desirable area or suburb. This is an interesting feature.
